Dover Electrical is operated by NordSys Limited. This is a plain-English summary of how we handle personal data.
What we collect
When you contact us we collect: your name, your phone number, your email address, your postcode or property address, and whatever description you send us of the electrical work you need. We collect this via email, WhatsApp, or phone - we do not run a contact form or newsletter signup.
How we use it
To quote for your work, to schedule the job, to send you the Electrical Installation Certificate afterwards, and to invoice you. We do not send marketing. We do not share your details with third parties except where required for the work itself (notifying our Part P competent-person scheme, notifying UK Power Networks for DNO paperwork, submitting a planning application to Dover District Council if you have asked us to).
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-1Q8M3D1447) to understand how visitors find and use the site. GA4 collects anonymised interaction data - pages visited, source, approximate location by IP. It does not collect personally identifying information. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry: 12 months. Job records (invoices, certificates, correspondence): 6 years for tax purposes. If you ask us to delete your data, we do so within 30 days except where legally required to retain.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: show you what data we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your data, restrict how we use it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@doverelectrical.co.uk to exercise any of these rights.
